Terms and Conditions
Last updated 11 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the StepUp USMLE website, the free StepUp LMS, or join one of our programs. StepUp USMLE is run by StepUp USMLE LLC. By using the site or enrolling, you agree to these terms.
1. What we offer
- Free: the StepUp LMS (notes, flashcards, the 120-day study plan and the Cardio lectures), 3 days of free live classes, the free Step 1 roadmap and a free assessment call.
- Paid programs: the 120 Days Marathon ($450, one payment), One-on-One Tutoring, the Step 2 CK Program and the Ethics & Biostats Program, each paid in one payment. What each program includes is described on its page.
- Live classes run online (for example on Google Meet or Zoom), Monday to Friday at 11 AM Eastern Time. Class recordings are added to your dashboard. Class times can change; we tell you in advance when they do.
2. Your account and your details
You open the free LMS by giving your name, email and WhatsApp number. Please give accurate details: we use them to give you access and to contact you about your prep. Your study progress is saved to your account, so keep your login details private and don't share them.
3. Payments and refunds
Prices are shown in US dollars and each program is paid in one payment. Every program comes with a full refund if you ask within 3 days of enrolling; the full terms are in our Refund Policy. Payment for other programs is agreed before you start.
4. Using our materials
Our notes, flashcards, videos, recordings and study plans are for your own personal study. Please don't copy, share, record, resell or publish them, or share your access with someone else. We may suspend access if materials are shared.
5. Conduct in classes
Be respectful to tutors and other students. We may remove anyone from a class or group who is abusive or disruptive.
6. No guarantee of results
We teach and support you, but we can't guarantee an exam result. Your outcome depends on your effort, starting point, background and exam-day performance. Student results shown on this site come from individual students and are not typical.
7. Educational use only
Our content is for exam preparation. It is not medical advice and must not be used to diagnose or treat patients. USMLE® is a joint program of the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB) and the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME), which are not affiliated with StepUp USMLE. Other resources we mention (such as First Aid or UWorld) belong to their owners and are not included unless a program page says so.
8. Liability
We provide the site and the free LMS as they are. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for a paid program is limited to the amount you paid for it.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.
